The Product


Metroline Metal Fascia is manufactured from .55 base Metal Thickness Zincalume or Colorbond Steel. Metroline Metal Fascia is designed to be used instead of timber fascia. Metroline is designed to be stronger, more attractive and longer lasting than standard timber fascia. Metroline Metal Fascia can also in many cases be applied over existing timber fascia as a replacement product.

Lengths

Metroll can supply Metroline Fascia up to a maximum length of 35 meters depending on availability of delivery. Lengths ordered to be manufactured by Metroll should be site measurements, not those taken off plans.

Accessories

Metroline Fascia has a number of accessories to suit for installation purposes. These include Fascia Brackets (for attaching the fascia to the truss), spring clips and overstraps. Also available are internal and external mitres, barge mitres, internal cover caps, internal mitres, internal joining sleeves, external apex covers and barge soaker.

Technical Information

Cutting


Metroline can be cut where necessary by using a circular saw with a metal cutting blade, not an abrasive disc. When you cut Colorbond® sheeting ensure the coloured surface is placed downwards to lessen the likelihood of swarf (hot metal filings) being embedded in the exposed roof surface.

Length

Metroll can supply Metroline Colorbond® or Zincalume® fascia up to a maximum length of 35 meters depending on load limit regulations set by the relevant local transport authority. Lengths ordered to be manufactured by Metroll must be site measurements, not those taken off plans.

When longer lengths or large volumes are ordered, to ensure prompt delivery please ensure that suitable arrangements have been made to assist in unloading your trucks. To prevent damage when unloading and moving long lengths please ensure that the load is spread.

Adverse Conditions

If you intend to use Metroline Metal Fascia within 1km of Industrial, Salt marine or unusually corrosive environments please advise Metroll at the time of ordering as standard Colorbond and Zincalume products are not necessarily suitable for these environments. Alternatives are available in the Colorbond XSE range.

Care

Please do not allow Metroline Fascia to stay wet prior to installation, particularly when in packs. If it does get wet, please separate the product, and wipe it dry with a soft cloth. Please do not leave the protective plastic coating on the fascia after installation.

Fascia Brackets

Fascia brackets can be affixed to trusses with either screw type fasteners or nails.
